Strikes

When unions can't get what they want during bargaining, they often call workers out on strike.

But unions may not tell you that.  Instead, they say it's your decision:  members vote whether or not they want to strike.

Since going on strike can meaning losing your pay, your benefits and possibly even your job, you need to know how strikes REALLY happen.

Remember, strikes don't hurt union officials.  They still get their pay and benefits, and they don't risk losing their jobs.
